Thanks for your interest in getting Stan into the American Motorcycle Association Hall of Fame. Your support will enable us to conduct interviews across the country, search multiple libraries in the bay area for newspaper articles and then write a book about Stan’s accomplishments – all to get him the recognition he deserves! Here’s how you can help:
- Become a member. We consult with our members about how to promote Stan’s Legacy. You get a say in how we conduct the Hog Legend organization!
- Volunteer to be interviewed. If you knew Stan personally, we want to hear from you. Just go to the Contact Us page and send us an email!
- Put us in touch with people who knew Stan and help us find the people who were a part of Stan’s accomplishments. Just go to the Contact Us page and send us an email!
- Go to the Stan’s Merch page and make a purchase. All of the proceeds from Hog Legend go to building and documenting Stan’s achievements, to prove to the AMA that Stan’s contributions to American Motorcycling were significant and deserving of Hall of Fame recognition.
In 2007 we submitted an application to the AMA Hall of Fame to induct Stan. The AMA determined that Stan’s accomplishments, although important, were REGIONAL and were not deserving of NATIONAL recognition. With your help, we will prove that his engine designs, creation of the first motorcycle slick and restorations of rare bikes – in addition to the achievements you will tell us about – will carry the day and ensure that Stan’s legacy will live forever! Thanks so much for your Help.
